Asked something the evidence does not cover, it says so.
It does not produce a confident, plausible, unsupported paragraph — which is exactly what a general-purpose model will do, and exactly what makes those tools unusable for work that has to hold up in front of an auditor.
Nothing reaches a client-facing document without a verified source behind it. That gate is enforced in the system, not left to the discipline of whoever is writing.
