AEGIS

Programme assurance

An independent read on a programme already in flight — across seven lenses, taken from the programme's own artefacts rather than its status reporting.

  • Solution Architecture Quality
  • Integration Architecture Review
  • Programme Governance & Value
  • Project Management Quality
  • Configuration & Customisation Integrity
  • Data Migration & Testing
  • Cutover & Deployment Readiness

Seven assurance lenses. Risks, issues and dependencies — named, rated and owned.

Status reporting is a negotiated document

By the time a large programme is amber, it has usually been amber for a while. The reporting reflects what the programme is willing to say, filtered through people whose position depends on the answer. That is not dishonesty; it is the structure.

AEGIS reads what the programme has actually produced — the architecture, the configuration, the test evidence, the RAID log, the cutover plan — and scores seven lenses against it. The result frequently agrees with the status report. When it does not, the disagreement is specific and evidenced, which is the only form of it that is useful.

The seven lenses are not vendor-specific — they apply to any large platform programme. Being straight about it: the deepest evidence base behind them today is SAP programmes. If yours is not SAP, ask us what that changes before you commission the work, not after.

Engagement shape

Scoped against the programme rather than run to a fixed calendar — the size of the estate and the stage it has reached determine the shape. We do not quote a week count before seeing it.

Talk it through before you scope it.

A 45-minute session: what you are deciding, what evidence exists, and whether this is the right instrument for it.
