What we collect
From visitors to this site: the information you choose to send us by email. This site uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
From clients during an engagement: the documents, system exports and other material you provide as evidence, together with the business contact details of the people involved.
Why we process it
To respond to your enquiry, to scope and deliver an engagement you have commissioned, and to meet our own legal and record-keeping obligations. We do not sell personal information and we do not use client evidence to train models.
Where it is processed
Client evidence is processed on the placement agreed with you at the start of the engagement. Argon offers four: shared sovereign infrastructure in South Africa; capacity dedicated to you; entirely within your own environment; or, where you elect it in writing, a named model provider under a data processing agreement.
Argon is being commissioned. Until a sovereign placement is live for your engagement, the shared platform runs on named international providers under their standard data processing terms, and we will tell you which before you send us anything. We do not use client evidence to train models.
How long we keep it
Enquiries. Email you send us is kept for twelve months and then deleted.
Client evidence. Retained and deleted on the terms set out in your engagement. Where the engagement is silent, evidence is deleted ninety days after close-out.
Your rights
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing, and complain to the Information Regulator. Write to info@affilio.co.za and we will respond within the period the Act requires.
