VISTA
The ERP estate journey
Where your ERP estate actually stands against the platform change you are being asked to fund — read from the system itself, not from a workshop. Born out of SAP, the most complex estate there is, which is why it reads any major estate holistically.

Five dimensions scored on evidence — and the five deliverables they produce.
The problem with an ERP business case
It is almost always built on what people believe the estate contains. The custom code inventory is an estimate. The integration map is two years old. The data quality position is a feeling. And the number at the bottom is defended by whoever wants to implement it.
VISTA reads the estate itself — the configuration as it stands, the custom objects as they exist, the transactional data as it actually behaves — and scores five dimensions against it. What comes out is not a recommendation to move or not move. It is an evidenced position on what moving would involve, which is the thing a board can take a decision on.
VISTA was born out of SAP. Reading an estate object by object demands real depth in the hardest estate there is, and that is where the method was proven. What came out of it is not SAP-only — the same discipline reads any major ERP estate holistically: the custom objects, the integrations, the data, and the way people actually use it. The honest position on stack coverage is here.
Five weeks end to end, from evidence handover to board presentation. The heavy reading happens in the first days rather than the last, so most of the engagement is challenge and refinement.
